Maileg's intricately designed world is rooted in fairytale and whimsy, with princesses and peas, and bunnies that wear clothes. Founder Dorthe Mailil, a Danish designer and illustrator, and her husband Erik founded Maileg in 1999, to create a world of creatures that all get along, even cats and mice, and that can be collected and cherished for generations to come.
