Product Description

Niwaki translates from Japanese to English as 'garden tree'. Niwaki's founder, Jake, travelled to Japan in the late 90s to explore the cherry blossoms there and draw inspiration from them, intending on a career as a sculptor. He was instead fascinated by the tools that were used to prune and shape the gardens of Japan, and his focus shifted towards bringing those to our western gardens, having spent a year working in a rural plant nursery near Osaka. Niwaki's tools are designed and made to last a lifetime, and have the highest functionality possible.

  • A Japanese-style hand broom suitable for your domestic chores!
  • Made from the palm fibres of Trachycarpus fortunei, bound together with copper wire.
  • Great for careful sweeping of bonsai and other potted plants, corners of terraces and patios, ground covers such as moss and mess in the home.
  • The chunky handle gives a satisfying grip, and the palm fibres provide the perfect balance of coarseness for some serious sweeping
