Product Description

Niwaki translates from Japanese to English as 'garden tree'. Niwaki's founder, Jake, travelled to Japan in the late 90s to explore the cherry blossoms there and draw inspiration from them, intending on a career as a sculptor. He was instead fascinated by the tools that were used to prune and shape the gardens of Japan, and his focus shifted towards bringing those to our western gardens, having spent a year working in a rural plant nursery near Osaka. Niwaki's tools are designed and made to last a lifetime, and have the highest functionality possible.

  • Perfect for digging, weeding and planting.
  • Good in the veg garden for preparing seed beds, and great for prising out roots, clumps, rocks and other such unprisables.
  • Birch handles
  • Made in Japan
