• We’ll talk through your budget, how you want to use the space, and your preferred style, colour palette, and maintenance level
  
• We offer both full planting redesigns (for empty or cleared beds) and planting refreshes (working with your existing layout and plants)
  

This is an exploratory chat to understand your needs and should take around 20-30 minutes, any planting suggestions come later once we’ve seen the space in more detail.

Following your consultation, we’ll provide a quote to cover the design phase. This will include:

• Moodboard
• Site survey
• Planting plan
• Plant schedule

Design work is charged at £35 per hour.

Once the quote is approved:

• We’ll arrange a site visit to take measurements and assess the soil, aspect, and any existing planting if you're opting for a refresh
• A moodboard will be created that brings together the ideas discussed in your consultation, including style references, colour palettes and planting inspiration. This acts as a visual guide to ensure we're aligned before detailed design work begins.
• The moodboard can be refined at this stage based on your feedback.

Once you're happy with the moodboard, we can move on to the full planting design.

With the moodboard approved, we can then develop a tailored planting design for your space. This will include:

• Scaled planting plan (used mainly for internal reference, but you’ll receive a copy)
• Detailed plant schedule listing species, quantities, and sizes
• ‘Look & feel’ viewpoint sketches to show how the planting will look and flow (if required)

We’ll review the design with you and confirm whether you’d like to proceed to the installation phase (Stage 5), at which point we’ll prepare a final quote for plant supply and labour.

Once you're happy with the design, we’ll provide a detailed quote for sourcing and installing the plants.

All costs will be confirmed before any orders are placed and we’ll handle everything from ordering to installation, ensuring your space is planted up and ready to thrive.
