Pelegrims comes out of a mix of backgrounds in skincare, winemaking and design, and is closely tied to a vineyard in the North Downs of Kent. The products use grape skins, seeds and extracts from the winemaking process, bringing naturally occurring nutrients and antioxidants into the formulations.
The approach is low intervention, with a focus on products that work with the skin rather than trying to overcorrect it. The formulations are simple and well balanced, designed to be used regularly and to support the skin over time.
The range includes skincare, body care and home products that feel good to use day to day. They sit well on the skin without being heavy, and the scents are one of the things that really stands out, natural, slightly earthy and genuinely enjoyable without being overpowering.
There is a clear sense of where the products come from, both in the materials and the way they are made. At Hortus, we stock Pelegrims for that connection to place, and because the products are well made, smell great and are easy to build into everyday routines.
