Sneeboer & Zn - Old Dutch Style Planting Trowel
The weighty Old Dutch Style trowel by Sneeboer is one of a kind. Not to be used in the conventional scooping motion like other trowels, the large, heavy, flat head should be used like an axe, to penetrate the soil and the move aside to create a perfect hole to plant in. It can be used to draw drills to plant your seeds, create holes for bulbs, even split smaller perennials, as well as cultivating the ground before planting begins. Versatile and steeped in tradition, this trowel is a must for any serious gardener.
'Tools for life...and generations to come'. Established in 1913 Sneeboer & Zn are to this day a family run company. With steel tools made by hand, using a blend of old technique and new technology, they are a must have for any keen gardener. Famously used by Monty Don himself, we think that's enough of a reason to invest in the tools that will be by your side for the rest of your life, and to hand down to your little gardeners when they grow up.
