Creamore Mill - Paper Pot Press
Founded in 1981, Creamore Mill started from humble beginnings in rural Shropshire. John Buckland had a handful of tools and a wood lathe, and soon out grew the former wash house he occupied, they moved the growing business to Creamore Mill, and have never looked back. Still a family run business, and still hand crafting all of their pieces in the mill, they make objects of use and function, but of undeniable beauty too.
Dimensions: 14 x 8 x 8 cm
Grow your plants in an eco-friendly and cost-effective way with Creamore Mill's Paper Pot Press. Say goodbye to unsightly plastic trays and pots with this easy-to-use press. Simply crimp strips of newspaper into plant pots and leave seedlings inside when planting. The newspaper rots in moist soil, avoiding root disturbance.
Instruction: Instructions: 1. Tear a strip of newspaper 16cm wide and approx. 40 cm long 2. Fold strip in half along the length 3. Roll strip around the press with the folded edge at the top of the cylinder (paper will overhang the bottom of the press) 4. Holding the rolled paper, scrunch the bottom edge and tuck it inwards under the press 5. Align with the base of the press. Push down firmly with a twist to crimp the paper pot base. Slide the pot off the press.
